Taking our quality craftsmanship the extra mile, we’re honored to construct all Stearns & Foster^® mattresses with CertiPUR-US^® certified materials.

The CertiPUR-US^® organization specializes in the certifications of foams included in mattresses and other bedding products. This program was developed closely with leading environmentalists, chemists, accredited laboratory scientists, and bedding and furniture industry leaders. These foams have been rigorously tested for emission standards, content, performance, and durability. This certification confirms that all foam materials included in the Stearns & Foster^® Studio, Estate, Lux Estate, Lux Hybrid, and Reserve models meet the organization’s rigorous standards.

A CertiPUR-US^® certification affirms that these materials are:

• Made without ozone depleters
• Made without PBDEs, TDCPP, or TCEP (“Tris”) flame retardants
• Made without mercury, lead, and other heavy metals
• Made without formaldehyde
• Made without phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission
• Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million)
